San Diego Schools

The San Diego Unified School District manages most of the city's schools. That includes elementary schools, middle schools, atypical schools, alternative schools, high schools, and charter schools. In addition to the San Diego Unified School District, there are three other districts: Poway Unified School District, San Dieguito Union High School District, and Sweetwater Union High School District. The Poway Unified School District and San Dieguito Union High School District serve the schools outside the city limits. Sweetwater Union High School District serves the schools in the city limits even though it is located outside the city limits. In addition to these schools, San Diego has private and public colleges and universities. California School of Professional Psychology and the United States International University merged and is now the Alliant International University, which is a private university. Their focus is multiculturalism and internationalism. In order to help the psychologist, they can work towards their doctor's degree in psychology. The University of California, San Diego is one of the largest co-educational universities in California.
