The Sioux Falls School District provides educational services for the public schools in Sioux Falls. There are 25 elementary schools, five middle schools, and four high schools. Besides the public schools, there are private schools. O'Gorman High School, which is a Catholic high school, has achieved academic success and has offered several advanced courses for students to increase their academic skills. In addition to O'Gorman High School, there are other private schools such as Sioux Falls Christian Schools, Christian Center Elementary School, and others. The University of Sioux Falls, which is a private, liberal arts college, is associated with the American Baptist Church. Another private university is National American University. The main academic programs are accounting, applied management, business administration, health care, and information tecnology. The university also offers graduate degree programs. Augustana College, which is another private liberal arts college in Sioux Falls, is associated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
