• *The students to underderstand how lift must be greater than gravity for flight.

Materials Needed

• *hair blow dryer
  
  *ping-pong ball

•  

Procedure

• 1. turn the blow dryer on
  2. place the ping-pong ball ontop of it where the air ia blowing out of
  3. observe the blow dryer making the ping-pong ball fly
  4. students will see that the lift was puthing harder than gravity letting the ping-pong ball fly
