- Being Thankful
- This lesson plan can be used the week of Thanksgiving.
Students will draw a large circle and then smaller circles and lines pointing to the large circle. Inside the large circle, they will write the word Thankful. Inside the smaller circles, they will write different things they are thankful for.

- In this lesson, students will make a Christmas Scene out of felt. They will cut out patterns and glue the patterns on white construction paper.

- This activity will allow the students to apply their knowledge of the basic parts of speech while learning them. I have seen teachers in school use this diagram to teach reading. I came up with other ways to use this diagram such as: compound words, prefixes and suffixes, nouns and pronouns, and other examples.

- Writing A Fable - Pets
- This lesson should be used with fourth and fifth grade students. It can also be used for middle school.
Students will learn about fables and write their own fable using one of their pets (if they have one) or make up a pet and name.
A fable is using an animal as the main character and have the animal take on human characteristics.
For example, I wrote a book using my newest dog, Crissy LeeAnn, as the main character, and she told about her experience as she first entered her new home with my and my other dogs. Crissy LeeAnn is a terrier/chihuahua and is three years old.

- Students will learn about caring for pets such as hamsters. Teachers have pets in their classrooms, so children need to learn how to care for pets. I will focus on hamsters.

- Students will classify dogs into different groups such as small breeds, medium breeds, and large breeds.

- In this lesson, students will create a journal on plant cells.

- Dinosaurs - Eoraptor
- In this lesson, you will teach students to identify Eoraptor by showing them pictures of the dinosaur and explaining details about it.

- This lesson is about bears. You will teach the students the basic facts about bears.

- Students will write an essay on hurricanes. This is for fifth graders for a science paper.
- Learning About Sounds
- This lesson will teach students about sound. They will hear different sounds, and then they will say which sounds they heard. This will develop auditory skills.
You will use this lesson as a science project when you teach students about sounds.

- This lesson is about trees. Students will draw a tree and label the different parts such as root, truck, branch, leaves, and twigs.
This lesson is for fourth to fifth graders. It can be given to sixth graders, too.
- Taking Care of Pets
- In this lesson, you can talk to the students about taking care of pets.
You can also have a veterinarian come to the classroom to talk to the students, or you can set up a time where you can take a field trip to the veterinarian's office.

- This lesson is helping children learn about the different seasons: fall, winter, spring, and summer. They will have activities to do for this lesson.
