- ASHS is rapidly becoming and exclusive not inclusive school. It is elitist in nature at a time when it is not stressing AP classes as it should. It is relying on its decades old designation as a Blue Ribbon School when it doesn't have an IB program in place and the so-called Guidance Dept is well-known among the community as the Mis-guided Dept. There are separate standards for the rich and the athletically gifted that the rest of the student body has come to loathe.
