  • I was a student that was picked on, bullied and had a miserable existence at this school. I sought help from staff and principals, but nothing. I found as a teenager the staff would take beer from their students, but then would act all moral and judgemental. a student was pregnant and my teacher once said that it didn't show a good example to others, and she was sent to another school. that teacher contracted AIDS and boy the school was fast to get rid of him! what hyocrites! This school serves money not God, and boy you can get a better education for less money at other schools. This school teacher said that I should Get a job in a shop, because I'm not smart enough for college....I now hold 3 degrees, 2 bachelors and a Masters. the only thing you'll find her is phoney caring...save your money and find christ in your own way!

  • I absolutely LOVE this school && I would go back in a second! I still stay deeply rooted in the school helping out by coaching sports I used to be a part of. The atmosphere is so welcoming and it is a very comfortable environment. The teachers treat students with great respect && I never felt looked down on once in my entire 4 years. It is a great school! As long as everything stays the same, I will be sending my children here as well!

  • While LHN is quite strong in humanities and social science education, the math and natural science curricula are terribly weak. Unfortunately, this is unacknowledged, and many students think that the rigor of instruction in these disciplines outstrips that of their peers. This assumption is shown to be painfully wrong when students actually go away to good schools and encounter students who are far better prepared for science tracks despite having gone to public schools, which are universally regarded as second-rate to LHN by the faculty and parents (and thus, the students). Aside from this, the staunch and extreme fundamentalism of the school makes it unwelcoming for some students, as does the lack of diversity, whether in terms of race, class, or ideology. I would not ever choose to send my kids to a school like LHN given how stunted my personal growth during high school was as a result of the narrow-mindedness of most faculty and students.

  • this school has a wonderful education, but the religious component must go! Hypocrites that shun mistakes and take themselves way too seriously! I don't think christ would have been allowed in this place.
