- Our daughter is currently in kindergarten. We had originally planned to do public school, but due to her birthday being 2 weeks after the public school entry cut off we explored other options. Now that we are here, we cannot believe how much more she is learning than public school children in our area. From teachers we know, she is doing first grade work 3 months before the end of her kindergarten year. She has one on one teacher attention much more frequently than she would otherwise with 13 total kids in her class. There is such a sense of community within the school, too, that we have had comments about our daughter from other teachers in grades above. The principal knows her name! And that of our younger child! We really feel that this school is doing wonderful things for our child.
