  • There simply is no better academic program or educational environment available in Hickory. In addition to exploring curiosity and increasing interpersonal proficiency, my children are learning the critical thinking skills that will allow them to compete in a global economy. An atmosphere of respect prevents discipline problems, allowing the teachers to be warm and encouraging while accomplishing a great deal each day. My kids love their school and are growing into great people with the support and guidance of the Hickory Day School community.

  • Hickory Day School has been a life saver for our family. It's low teacher to student ratio provides us a link to our children's growth and development in every sense of the word. Academically, students are well prepared in the IB way of teaching and learning. Emotionally, they are empowered to use their strengths and strive to better their challenges. It is the hidden gem of Hickory!
