  • As a former student, I remember how much I would look forward to attending school every day. I think that it provided an excellent alternative to the public school system, where sometimes students tend to get “lost in the crowd”. I believe that the specialized attention I received made transitioning to college a much smoother process than it might have been otherwise. I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend this school.

  • This school, which is supposed to accommodate emotionally fragile teens, fails on many fronts and it is a shame school districts are still referring students there (although the numbers have recently started dwindling). The administration and teachers are unprofessional and fail to properly adhere to students' IEPs. Even worse, they take no responsibility for this failure. There is inadequate college preparation and very little learning occurs. The overall lack of support and sensitivity makes this school a poor fit for truly emotionally fragile kids. The school atmosphere is unsafe and exposes kids to a student body that includes dangerously disturbed students, violence, and drugs.
