Great school. Bay Ridge's best kept secret.

I attended OLA in the early 60's My most vivid memory is listening to the report of J.F.K. killing on the P.A. I can remember the Sister crying as we listened. I can remember the Fransican Bros. carrying triangle rulers under their robes. I can only remember two lay teachers, Mr. Ward my 6th grade teacher and Mr.? who had a corvette convertible, I always thought he was cool, even though he used his college ring on the top of your head if he caught you doing something wrong. I am so thankful to my parents for sacrificing so they could send me to OLA. I am now a teacher and still use many of the values, and morals which I'm sure came from OLA. If you attended OLA during this time I would love to here from you.
