(5 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - My son has attended Media Center Montessori on Magnolia St. Both are run by the same school director. As for the teachers, being that I'm a very picky parent, I'm very pleased with the teachers in the Magnolia branch. I'm surprised at the previous 2 comments, but I have never been to the one on Clark, therefore I am not able to comment. My child has and is receiving the foundation he needs to succeed in the future. He is happy and has shown tremendous growth. The teachers are sincered and genuinely care about the students well being. This is his last year at Media Center and I have struggled to find a place comparable to Media Center both on a public and private school level. I would recommend Media Center Montessori (Magnolia is the one I'm referring to) to all my family and friends.

My child actually attended this school and I was not pleased at all. Ditto to the children not looking happy, they never look happy. I would sometimes pick my child up early and the kids would all be sitting at a round table doing absolutely nothing at 4:00pm while the teacher is vacuuming. I paid too much for my child to sit idle considering they had just got up from their daily nap around 2pm. The children always seemed to be sick or have runny noses, the parent/teacher communication was horrible, the teacher to child ratio was a fluke and they could never tell me what happened to my child when she was injured but Nevrik most certainly knew how to remind you that tuition was due. And she does talk to the so-called teachers really bad and the teachers talk to the children really bad and with a bad attempt of english. I later found out that the teachers were all trying to receive their visa/green cards to become citizens and Nevrik was the enslaved master who assisted them in securing citizenship by giving them jobs for not much pay. I remember one teacher counting down the days before she could depart from this facility and move on to another job. All I can say is that if you love your child, please do not send them to this school, it is a fraud and your child will learn absolutely nothing outside of what you teach them already.
