  • My son spent two years at Montessori School in Knoxville, Pre-K & his K year. When he went into the first grade he tested at least ONE full year behind his fellow students. My son's first grade teacher said that he has never been taught the things he needs to know to enter first grade. ALL Montessori exist for is parents to look like they are big in society by sending their children there. My sons teacher at Montessori even went as far as RAISING her newborn in a crib during class. My son is now behind the most important time of life due to attending Montessori. If you want a quality education for your child, DO NOT enroll them at Montessori. I am out $15,000 but the sad part is my son is last in his class now in public school due to Montessori. All Montessori is & overpriced daycare for the wealthy.
