PARK CITY ACADEMY: A Foundation for Success
Established in 1989, Park City Academy is an independent school, preschool through eighth grade. Our students are encouraged – and challenged – to reach their highest potential academically, emotionally, and physically. Our superior teachers and staff are committed to academic excellence, innovation, and leadership.
· Eight to One student teacher ratio allows faculty and staff to know all students in and out of the classroom.
· Core Knowledge Curriculum integrates 21st Century Technology across all grades.
· Small classes allow students learn to refine their thinking by learning how to write well.
· Math instruction is accelerated one year for most students.
· Experiential Science Program includes 2-4 labs per week Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
· Creative Play Curriculum in Early Childhood (preschool through Kindergarten) establishes student’s academic foundation with both structured and optional activities.
· Full day Kindergarten.
· Students learn Spanish in language immersion instruction with native speaker preschool through 8th grade.
· Fine Arts include Visual Art, Art History, Choral Music and Dance preschool through 8th grade.
· Students build self-confidence through performance and public speaking instruction.
· Outdoor Education Program builds progressively from local expeditions to culminate in Middle School study at the Teton Science Center.
· Exciting Summer School Program open to all Park City children.
· Member Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, PNAIS Candidate Member, Accredited by Utah State Board of Education

(5 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - Park City Academy is an outstanding school with first-rate teachers. Small class sizes with an excellent academic program that includes visual and performance art, music, Spanish, science labs, physical and outdoor education, technology - all right here in Park City. It is comforting to know that our child is in an attentive and nurturing environment where teachers and staff care about each and every student. What a joy to watch our child's self-confidence and leadership skills thrive from the encouragement he receives at PCA.
