- We recently moved here, and we have been extremely disappointed in Chesterbrook Academy. The teachers put on a nice show for the parents, but they are out to do as little as possible for your child. Go observe and you will find recent high school graduates with no formal training running the classrooms after the parents drop off the kids in the morning. Lead teachers magically appear at closing. When you inquire about activities that occurred during the day, they have no clue. We have had several incidents in the two months we have been here. Avoid these facilities! They look nice and put on a good show, but Beware! If you visit, ask the principal how she enjoyed her all expense paid trip to Las Vegas this year. The corporation sends all principals to Vegas or some other resort after year--free for a week. Now you know where your dollars go. Good luck.
