  • Over the past several years this has slowly turned into a more of a traditional school than a montessori. The teachers get no yearly training to ensure they are up to date. The Administrator of the school has been the cause of many problems within the parent community of the school and is slowing ensuring the the good qualified teachers are run out of the school. The Administrator will sell a good tale but really doesn't know anything about Montessori. Since there is no one to ensure quality in the school or to help teachers when they have a problem the good teachers can not keep a true Montessori environment. When a montessori teacher is sick there is no-one but an aide in the classroom to teach the children and while the aide have been with some of the teachers for a number of years they have not been educated in the Montessori methods and therefore really shouldn't be giving lessons to the children. I could go on and on about the problems of the school. It is enough to say if you are looking for a good montessori look elsewhere.
