  • We have known Roy and Kathy Catalo, director of the Cave Creek Montessori School, for approximately five years. During that time we have found them to be extremely dedicated to their school and toally devoted to the children who attend the CCMS. On a personal basis we have known them to be honest, loyal and very caring people. They are a very family oriented couple, spending time with and caring for thier own family is very important to them. From the many stories we have heard about the children who attend the school we know that they care and treat the children of the CCMS with the same respect and kindness as they do their own.

  • I would highly recommend this school to anyone. Cave Creek Montessori provides an ideal learning and social environment for children which prepares them for future education. My wife and I were very pleased with his success and the investment in his future. The teachers are wonderful and supportive and make the transition to organized learning seamless and fun. Ms. Kathy and Ms. Donna are wonderful!

  • Both of our children have attended Cave Creek Montessori and have received an excellent education. Our daughter just blossomed there both academically and socially and the Montessori background has helped her immensely in public school. It's a breeze.....and we know that it was this foundation that has helped her. We know and so do all the other parents that are now at public school and attended this school. We stick together and know we have a leg up on everyone else! Our little guy goes there now and is getting the hang of it. But the nurturing teachers and relaxing environment are just what he needs to learn. He loves it and won't put a pen down at home so he can sound out words and write them! We know after one more year at Cave Creek Montessori, he'll be more than prepared for Kindergarten which is our goal! Thank you!

  • Both my boys love going to school and this is the most important thing to me. The second most important thing to me is that they leave the pre school in which they have been attending with the knowledge and confidence to move on to kindergarten and not just do well but flourish. For me academics are very important and to see how happy my boys are with all their achievements make me know that I choose the best school.

  • Roy and Kathy Catalo are two of the most caring and professional people I know. Simply the finest. I would not hesitate for a moment to send my children to them. I know they would not only get a wonderful education, they would be safe and cared for.
    Sincerely,

  • My 8 year old son spent 3 years with Ms. Soma and received an outstanding education and gained an incredible thirst for knowledge. He learned a lot of science and geography and became a very proficient reader. I would recommend this school to everyone.

  • This is my sons 2nd year there and he absolutely loves it there and so do I. Miss Soma and Miss Uma are great teachers and I can't thank them enough for that. This will be his last year there because I'm sending him to another school to start kindergarten. My daughter is 1 1/2 and I will be sending her to CCM when it is time for her.

  • I have had two children at CCM. Overall, they have both had a tremendously positive experience - they are in a safe environment, a nice play area, a full Montessori program with good, caring teachers. My child that is currently enrolled loves to go to school every day and has developed a passion for learning. My son, who is now in public elementary school, also developed the same foundation. They have learned a lot and have been exposed to many concepts and are very prepared to move on to the next stage of their education. My experience has been that the teachers and the owners have a deep care for early childhood education and I would not hesitate to recommend CCM.

  • My son started in this school 3 months ago and I couldn't be happier, he loves it, he is always so exited to go to school. The teachers are the best he started in the toddler class and has moved to the bigger kids class a month ago and they made the transition super easy for him and I know that they take really good care of him. This school is family owned and you can really tell it really feels like you become part of a big family. I honnestly think that I couldn't have choosen a better preschool, and the owners of the school are very nice and helpfull there is nothing rude about them.

  • This is Roy Catalo, director of Cave Creek Montessori, and I am sorry you had a bad experience at our school. We sincerely apologize. While we constantly strive to meet the needs of all of our families: children, parents and guardians, we know that sometimes we may fall short. Still, we remain committed and open to all of your feedback and any and all discussion. Our philosophy emphasizes the importance of open communication between parents, teachers and administration, all working toward the ultimate benefit of the child. The growth, health, happiness and safety of children is our top goal. We hope to facilitate their discovery of the world around them and allow them to learn on their own terms, utilizing the Montessori method. If anyone else has questions or concerns about our school, please feel free to contact me directly at 480.563.2929. I stand behind the quality of our programs and our school. Thank you!
