  • A child started this school in kindergarden and stayed till they 8th grade. We believed they would care about this child, that they would not only help with religious values, but would help motivate and teach. He failed two grades. we had a difficult time communicating with teachers and principal. they would wait until the child had not done 15-20 homework assignments before letting us know. They would wait until the end of the year before notifying anyone that this chile was failing. in 10 years time this child was in thier school, they should have realized he was in trouble and needed help. We asked for help several times, but nothing was ever done!!
dispite the fact we did all we knew to do at home. there would be the usual punishments, such as no computer time, etc. the motivation lectures and so on,
but the learning should also be in the classroom. we were not equipped to teach this child at home at the level the school was supposedly teaching.
I felt as though the teachers were not teaching in the classroom, as much as sending assignments home for home schooling!!! Now that I look back over the years, I can't help but see that they just didn't care about this child and I also feel it's all about money. If we had been rich and paid them 1000.00 a year, maybe they would have taken more of an interest in this child's development.
i'm very diappointed in this school, as I have talked to the principal, who really doesn't care, dispite the persona she displays. It seems the counsler hasn't the time to really help, and the teachers
are willing to only do so much.
At the end of it all, we have a child who now feels like the "stupiest person in the world", who is very sad and depressed.
Yes, he should have definatly put more effort forth and yes, we should have not trusted that these people cared. we should have done something more.
we asked several times that the teacher send home all homework assignments, once done, send home acknoledgement they had been done and received. they wouldn't even follow thru with that. How are we to know, if there is no communication?????
I would not recommend, if you have a child who may have learning problems to attend this school..
Don't let the religious aspect fool you, like it did us. They do not have the charitable, caring hearts you may hope for.
