  • I have been extraordinarily impressed by the school. The faculty has been outstanding (I have a 2nd grader there), the academics are great, and the community couldn't be more supportive and wonderful. It really feels like a close family. The school emphasizes self-reliance and confidence among the students. The bottom line is my daughter LOVES going to school every day and that is what really matters.

  • Wornick is an amazing school that truly engages each student and family in lifelong learning. My fourth and second grader are thriving and my friends and family notice how engaged they are with learning. With a dynamic, warm new Head of School, exceptional teachers who continuously work to improve their craft and an integrated curriculum that challenges students and recognizes all the different styles of learners, Wornick is the best kept secret of the North Peninsula.

Wornick believes that every child can become an exceptional learner and in 25 years, over 90% of our graduates have excelled in honors and AP classes in high school. Our alumni attend the best universities in the country - Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Berkeley and more.

The Wornick curriculum is based on cross-discipline integration and extended project based learning. All the children start learning to present in front of large groups in kindergarten, use technology to research and prepare materials and contribute in many ways to their community.
