  • While the principal is very intelligent and thoughtful the supporting staff fails miserably. The office staff doesn't have the family's best interest at heart. At times there's an obvious double standard with regards to race. Black students are typically singled out for discipline more than their Mexican counter parts. Two black teachers have been laid off. While hiring a White teacher at the same time. So far I've identified one teacher that apparently thinks she's above reproach. She's accused students of things that didn't occur. She's made statements to the students inappropriately. These statements should have been addressed to the parents, not to the children. Seems cowardly.

The afterschool program has problems with leadership. Some of the staff is highly inadequately trained, and have severe communication issues. The administrator there has a very off the wall attitude toward the children and parents.

I believe the (...) is caught in a situation where she can't fire these people, for whatever reason. But, she needs to check her supporting staff. They make her and the school look bad.

  • The office staff is very rude and unorganized. They have a serious lack of communication and lack of diversity. I will not be sending my child to St. Corneilious next year !

  • I was very disappointed in the lack of support and understanding from this school. My child was suspended from St. Cornelius with less than a month to go in the school year for my inability to pay I still owed a little over 1/2 of her tuition for the year. She did not return and subsequently I had to home school her for the final 3 1/2 weeks. I have since made payments on our outstanding balance and will have it paid in full before the start of the school year ! My disappointment is that in this economy why would you be so cold to do that ?
Displacing families when it's not necessary... I understand that they need their money. They got bills to pay to but that seemed real mean spirited and not in anyones best interest . This is supposed to be a religious institution .... Wow what a lack of judgment and compassion. I do not recommend this school !
