  • St. Jerome School is a small, Catholic K-8 school. It is one of the few to still have a Sister as a principal. I think this helps keep the focus on faith while learning. St. Jerome offers an academic curriculum that prepares its students for high school. Our students are accepted at many area Catholic High Schools, and then go on to university from there. Our school also offers many sports, keyboard class, karate class, and volunteer opportunities. One thing I especially like is the “class buddies” - an older grade is paired with a younger grade, for reading together in the classroom and to sit with at Mass. The younger ones get to know the junior high kids, and the older ones learn responsibility toward their young schoolmates. I have been an involved parent at this school for 13 years and think the St. Jerome faculty and staff are hardworking and caring.

  • St. Jerome has a very diverse and family friend environment. The technology is state of the art and integrated into the curriculum. Teachers, staff, principal and the pastor are all very active, visible and accessible and are always trying to make St. Jerome a better school for all. Students are matriculating to some of the top Catholic High Schools in the city and are educated to be good students and good citizens active in their communities. There are extra activities for everyone. The sports programs are varied and competitive yet instills the proper attitude toward sportsmanship. To top if all off the campus is very large and the new hall and gym is a total "gem" for this entire community!
