Wilshire Private School prides itself on offering a quality education second to none. We offer a strong academic program designed to pull information from a wide variety of sources in order to fully enhance our academics. As a part of these academics, teachers work to ensure that students keep up, understand, learn, and retain materials. This is done through a series of learning techniques designed to reach both the individual and the group. Wilshire Private School also works towards the development of the "character" of our students. Through a series of programs, projects, and special activities, students, teachers, and parents all work together to create a well-educated, well-rounded, ethically responsible student.

Poor reading skills program throughout the elementary school and school is suffering from severe budget cuts. They have an interim principal with no administrative experience. Oh well, you get what you pay for. i visited the school and was not impressed.

Wilshire Private School's principal has just resigned. This is the second principal in 4 months. The school is a has been and needs to close and start all over again with an experienced principal who knows about elementary education and the day to day operations of the school. The school is just existing. The board needs training in fiscal matters as well as educational jargon. They have no teachers there that know how to take a leadership role. The teachers are all like student teachers. The families that remain are families that cannot afford to go any where else or afraid of the unknown. The school had an exceptional faculty last year with the exception of about three teachers that needed to leave. I am hoping that this school gets help from accreditation or an outside sourcing firm quickly. Maybe LAUSD will take it over.

Wilshire School is a Korean-American/Multicultural private school for grades k-6. It is a fantastic school with top academics and theater, music, orchestra, foreign language, and much more. Wilshire has small classes and happy students!
