  • As a former student of Calvary Baptist Academy, I strongly recommend that you don't send your children to this school.
The principle/high-school teacher is a power-hungry man that seeks to control the young people in his charge. He has degraded and humiliated students in front of the entire class, and uses verbal abuse to control them, often accusing wrongly them of lying, cheating, and being lazy (myself and my brothers included). He has also skipped important units in the curriculum in order to speed up a student's "education".
He ignores parental concern for their child's welfare. This has led parents to pull their children out school, and has even caused some of them to leave the church. The total attendance for this school is now two. Please, if you love your children, think twice before enrolling them in this "school".

  • Send your kids to this school only if you want their spirits to be crushed and their motivation to do things to be driven away. The (...)teacher is a terrible man. He has caused several students to hate anything to do with church. Several of the students had to see therapists after leaving the school because he tries so hard to turn them all into his little robots. Just don't send your kids to this school.
