  • 10/30/2010 Sadly these things are very true and rather than defend your place of buisness for financial purposes ypu should take a look at your program. The children are expected to do everything perfectly. They have to make all papers the same. They are expected to be robots. There is no freedom of creativity! Maybe the person who wrote the last review did not want to be fire because they neede a job! The atmosphere is negative, the teachers are spoken down to! The directors at Orland location are condescending and rude! They put on fake smiles for parents. I personally have seen the man grab a child by the arm and leg and flip him on his stomach yelling RESPECT! On your stomach, hands to yours sides and eyes closed!!!! Come and see, all art projects look the same, they are rushed through! The children have no room to make positive choices or be creative! The Directors demand teachers to be firm which means bark orders at the children. God forbid a child colors a tree purple! The children are forced to role tissue balls for 15 minutes! whether they eant to or not! Um there are more ways to develope their fine motor skills!!! Has any one taken any UPDATED early childhood classes. Thwy sing the same songs day in and day out for years!!! and have to be on their names singing and doing their "motions"! The children have to cut for 15 minutes with no end goal!!! They dread it!! This place does not meet the childs individual needs or promote creativity, rather they break down the spirit of teachers, aides, and most important the children! Yes, pony rides are nice and the outside space is nice but the daily program that teachers MUST follow to the second is boring, dull, and breaks the spirit. Teachers are not allowed to be spontaneous or meet the children at their individual levels. Point Blank it is not a positive environment and the Directors need to get together and update their program!!! Stop being sooo uptight. Creative people leave and do not stay long! This place drains the spirit!!! Sad but true. P.S. Bob may have problems but alot of what he says is true!
