- My child attended Peckwas Academy kindergarten through 2nd grade. I made the decision to remove her from the atmosphere of the school at the end of 2nd grade. It is run by 3 sisters who are also teachers and extremely partial to the economic structure of the families. I am so glad I decided to remove my child. In my opinion there is no professionalism what so ever. children are allowed to "retake" tests before they are recorded. Which makes the school look pretty darn good. I have known many parents who by the 2nd or 3rd grade remove there children. By that age, one kind of learns REALLY how the school works. Now my child is in a great school. I am so grateful we made the move!

- i didn't really like this school.i am a soph. now,but i went here from kindergarten to 5th grade and honestly, i wish i went somewhere else during that time. the three sisters there are mean and manipulative and often left the classroom to talk about what happened at the bar the other night. you are loaded with homework and know around maybe 6-10 other kids during your time there. the priciples daughter was moved up a grade because she was "smart". i did like how you did have close friends there, hot lunches, and some class pets. honsestly, i would send my kid here till maybe 3rd grade and then put him somewhere else.
