  • Zion Lutheran School is operated by the church, you pay more tuition if you do not attend the church. There's significant turnover here. The church families are really wonderful people. But the school organization is inconsistant. They have a good school handbook, it isn't always followed. My friend's child was shunned by a teacher because his art "wasn't Christian enough." The principal has a sheep vs. goats mindset. Some teachers are great, others are not. It's a bit of a pressure-cooker, lots of homework. If you go to the church, it should work out for you. If not, consider all yr options.
