School Description

DC Prep has built an excellent early childhood, elementary and middle school program and demonstrated uncommon success in student achievement, parent satisfaction, and organizational development. With its dual focus on rigorous academics and character development DC Prep is ensuring that its graduates have the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for success in competitive high schools and college.

Serving students in PreSchool through 8th grade at three campuses, DC Prep will expand over the next decade to ten schools and bring a high-quality education to thousands of children in Washington's historically under-served neighborhoods. At full-scale DC Prep will enroll 10% of public school students in Wards 5-8.

By demonstrating academic and organizational excellence at scale, DC Prep aims to be a positive, energizing force for urban education reform in Washington
