  • Principal, Mr. Thompson is a supportive leader who doesn't micro-manage his staff or teachers thereby letting them get their jobs done.

My student has done very well despite the threat of this being "middle school." Homework load has been reasonable. Most teachers really care. Many go the extra mile and beyond with special lessons, humor, and additional help sessions.

There are extracurricular clubs, intramural and extramural sports to choose from but as a parent I frequently don't hear about some offerings until after the fact.

PTA is low key, no big fundraiser, but works closely with school to put on family and student events and purchase curriculum related items.

Building is safe, could use some artwork and decorations but okay. Nice library, gym, and cafeteria.
