  • Gray's Creek Elementary is a wonderful and caring school! I love the caring support that I receive from parents and co-workers. The parents at the school are wonderful and are always willing to help. My co-workers are the best and are willing to share their knowledge! My child will be attending Gray's Creek in years to come and I couldn't wish for a better school for her to attend!

  • Gray's Creek Elementary School is a place where children are both educated and nurtured. The environment is one of warmth and postivity.

Teachers here take on the great responsibility of teaching students reading and math, but they also take it upon themselves to develop higher order thinking skills, social skills, and providing the gift of becoming a life-long learner to every child they come in contact with.

  • I am currently a staff member in the K and grade 1 Dibels lab. I have previously worked at other schools both in Livingston and Tangipahoa parish.

Grays Creek is a great school. The staff is caring and supportive of all the children. The staff is like a big family and that carries over to the atmosphere for the children.

Like every school, discipline has to be maintained or chaos will reign. Overall, Mr. Richardson allows to children to do many more activities to encourage moral and reward good behavior than other schools.

I have grandchildren in other schools so I can say that Grays Creek measures up or exceeds the standards of the Livingston parish schools I am familiar with (all of which are topnotch).

  • My child goes to Gray Creek Elem. He has a speech and hearing problem. The staff has helped him excel , even though he has a disability. The staff has worked with him and me to help my child excel past his means.
I feel that usually when there is a problem with a child, a teacher can only do so much within the law. The rest is up to the parent. The teachers have given me support and information that I used to better my child.

  • Gray's Creek is an amazing school! I am signing on as a parent of 2 students who attend school here. I am always aware of what is going on with my children academically, socially, behaviorally, and any aspect that is concerning or praiseworthy. My children have excelled in academics since they have started here. I know that they are growing into strong-minded people who are loved at school like they are at home. I am speaking as a parent first because that is my first obligation, but I am also a teacher here at Gray's Creek.

Gray's Creek is an outstanding place to work at. I have the support of administration, fellow employees, and even the kids. We are a team here. We always search out ways to improve our professional growth as well as our relations for the children and their parents. We, as teachers, understand that without the support of the caregivers at home that we would not have the success and happiness found in our student body as we do. We really appreciate the support of our community in volunteering, donations, and concern for the needs of our kids. They are our future.
