  • My child attends this fantastic school and my family couldn't be happier. I think that every school that exists out there has areas that could improve, however, I believe that the principal and staff at AOL do a wonderful job. The curriculum is challenging and the students are at the top of their game. Our students, show a great deal of respect to every adult that enters the doors of the school. As an outsider looking in the children all appear to be happy and well adjusted to life at AOL. As far as Mrs. DiMaggio goes...just imagine being in her shoes. She has so much responsibility as principal of our school. She will never be able to please all, but she does please the majority and she always does her best. The fact that our enrollment continues to grow is a pretty good sign that our school is headed in the right direction. I also believe that the fact that the teacher's lounge and front offices were spruced up is not a bad thing. These areas are also a part of our school and need to be taken care of as well. Many of the classrooms were painted over the summer and it was the same few parent volunteers that showed up to help, along with Mrs. DiMaggio. She certainly did not have to give her time, but she did very happily. I'm sure the person who wrote the negative review below did not help with that project. We need to come together as a school family and help each other if something doesn't seem quite right instead of bad-mouthing and doing nothing about it. God bless AOL!
