  • Robert C. Cooley Middle School is a prodominantly high standard school. We are provided with crucial education to prepare for future educational experiences (such as high school and college). The teachers are fantastic and the extra-curricular activities are endless. The only area I complain with is the lack of clubs (except for the diversity club). Although, I am sure that as the year progresses we will be able to establish a multitude of clubs. I believe the school does not receive enough funding if that be from the state of California or the city of Roseville. We have to bring our own paper and pay for field trips. I must also add that the school lunch program is suffering drastically, health wise. The food may be on the food pyramid, but it is filled with trans fats, saturated fats, calories, and oil which are artery clogging and lead the way towards childhood obesity. Moreover, I am a vegetarian and there are hardly ANY options for vegetarians and if there are they are still unhealthy. I am disgusted with school lunch and will drop my support of the school lunch system until they provide healthy food that is adequate for vegetarians.
