  • I spent K-8 at Sparkman and I don't feel it prepared me at all. The teachers were overworked and the kids all came from poor families. I went on to graduate with honors from UA but it had nothing to do with my elementary education.

  • This is an excellent and well organized institution. The teachers are caring and knowledgeable and the principal is one in a million. He has helped my children several times when dealing with adolescent school problems. My children have gone on to graduate from the University of Vanderbilt and the University of Florida after having attended Sparkman elem. and junior high. Recommend to anyone who wants their children to have a staff who loves children and will give much personal attention.
