  • I just wanted to update the info about garfield. It offers pre-school through sixth grade, and I would know because I was there for 8 years, not 7. Garfield is a great school, and I would recommend it to anyone considering it. The teachers are very nice and I learned alot. My brother and two cousins go there right now and I go to pick them up every day. Since i graduated last year, I have seen alot of improvement in the school grounds. They have added cement to a few areas that has made it better. When I was going there, I knew all the teachers and which room they were in. The year after I left, teachers moved to teach other grades, retired, and they got a few new teachers. They are making the homework alot more difficult because students are required to do a grade higher work to get a 4 which is the highest you can get. When my brother got his last report card he had all 3 's which could have been 4's! I'm kind of dissapointed at that, but otherwise it is a good school.
