  • Limited after school enrichment. Great teachers and solid reading programs. My kids love their teachers! The teachers at all levels are fantastic! Especially the young woman teaching band this year! Very limited opportunities for advanced students. Parental involvement seems average. Seems like the same people every year. The teachers have to manage all their own volunteers. Nothing centralized or organized. Web site has a lot of holes and never seems to be regularly updated. Very small school, has too many older kids and ideally should be a K-5 school instead. Having the older kids there really wastes resources that should be directed at the younger kids. All the limited after school enrichment (band, play) is focused on the older kids and their issues. Most of the focus in on the older kids in fact. The school district needs to make this a K-5 school next year and stop trying to be everything to everyone.
