The school does NOT provide ANY AP or Honors classes. The only thing close are dual enrollment classes (college classes).
Many of the teachers are no longer qualified in the fields that they teach, however, the school cannot remove them due to Alabama's laws on tenure for teachers.
The school does not provide enough exta-curricular activities. The school does not have Soccer, Tennis, a Swim Team, or Powder-puff. It does not have an SGA, FBLA, or DECA, nor does it have many of the other clubs or organizations for high schools.
All in all, I feel stuck and helpless here. The administration overall is friendly, however I myself along with many others are hoping the Principal will retire soon. He seems only interested in bettering the athletics, and not the academics.
