  • This was my first year working at Veva Blunt. I only found teachers and staff more than willing to help with students and other staff. Even the cafeteria staff took time out to spend time with students and make special events for lunches! I met very special people and students there! The rest of my career will be spent here with great joy! I started in 1993 in school district. This is my first year here and it is like the happiest place on earth to work! I think Disneyland is the only other place to make that claim!

  • As a former student at Veva Blunt, I've experienced the teachers and staff. This was by far the best elementary school, and the teachers want nothing but the best for you. I've learned so much, and i've also learned that, low test scores shouldn't be fully blamed on the teacher. The teachers may have given it all they got, but it's also up to the students to try and give it all they've got.
I mean, I understand that when we critique schools, we want what's best for our child, so we continue to search for the best, but for me, I'm done searching. I'd want my kids to attend this school. Hands down.

  • I have 2 children that go to Veva Blunt School.I find some of the teachers are good and are great teachers. But there are those bad apples and trust me Veva Blunt has them. There is also no P.E. , the school thinks that the kids education is more important then their well being. I think that needs to be changed. What are we teaching our future generation that it is okey to not stay healthy... I also have a big problem with the staff. The ladies in the office are nice except for one.I do on planning on changing schools really soon because of the school. Veva Blunt has very very low test scores too. I want a school that I know my children will learn at not no school that doesn't really work well together. For anyone wanting to put their kids at this school , I say don't. It's just not a good school at all.
