  • This school focuses only on the high achievers and/or athletes. The accountability to the average student or heaven forbid the under average student is totally lacking at ThunderRidge. I have both an honor student and a struggling student and the disparity is very apparent. The office staff is rude and several teachers both kids have are rude and intimidating to the students. Most of my friends with kids at this school feel this way and have the same negative experiences to prove it. One teacher wrote the following on my honor students paper: "This essay is like chewing cardboard - makes no sense at all." No constructive criticism, no words on how to improve, just rude. We reported it to the office, they smiled, said they would look into it, then we found out the teacher was awarded Teacher of the Month two weeks later. (one small example)
