  • I'm a 7th grader at Cab, and I can't imagine myself anywhere else. When I was in 5th grade the only place I looked into was cab, I didn't shadow or apply anywhere else. My friend was like "but what if you liked some place better?" The reason is what can be better than spending two periods a day studying the arts areas you enjoy, and the overall positive attitude of the school.

Students at Cab are always smiling, most people at Cab are really glad to be there, and that's not something you see in most schools. Cab is a motivation for many kids to take school seriously, and gives people a love of learning.

Some people argue that if you are "wasting" time on the arts, then you aren't getting the education you need, but they have obviously not looked into the situation, because Cab has some of the highest scores on the DSTP in the state.

I have a few problems with cab, however. Parents are not informed about many events taking place at school, and Communication to parents is something Cab needs to work on. A few teachers do not meet the exceptional levels that most of the teachers are. There are also problems that are typical in any public school ( Bad lunches, bathrooms in need of renovation, classrooms and desks in need of renovation, etc)

Overall, I am very satisfied with Cab and plan to apply there for high school.
