  • This school is not a good fit for the average "normal" student. Teachers, most of them with no experience in curriculum development are spending most of their time writing expeditions to be used by all students int he classroom, divided into high, middle and low groups. There is almost no direct teaching even to the "low group" in the name of "teaching students independency".
CCPCS caters to the overachieving kid who need minimal guidance from the teacher. Those who are very bright academically but challenged socially or relating to others will definitely find their niche in this school. For the rest, there are much better elementary schools just around the corner where the average kid can blossom and do well academically.
