  • I invite anyione to visit with Hallandale Adult Community Center and see how the environement is inviting and pleasant. The staff is caring and provide students with immediate attention. The students sometimes bring their babies and the infant seats are made immediately avaialable as they enter the building if they need them so they can place their babies on the table in front of them as they conduct their business in the school. The receiving staff is always visible and ready to direct students where they need to go. The Principal is a star-power professional so are the assistant principals. The school has received so many awards because of the quality of the teachers and the sterling work they do with the students. Really, Hallandale Adult Community Center is a place for those who want to recapture their dreams of a graduating with a High School Diploma as well as those who want to improve their speaking, reading and writing in English. I short, visit the school and see for yourself, but make sure your expectations are clear. This is not a junior school, it is for adults who balance life with learning and our teachers understand this and work with each individual person according to their needs. If you are committed to come to school and follow the work plan given to you, you will succeed at Hallandale Adult Community Center. There have been so many graduates of this school and some are now mentoring the new students so that they do not drop out because if you stick with it, you finally make it. Well done, HACC!
