  • The school is wonderful but the people and students that work there are not. The students that attend there most of them are on "Facebook" and "Myspace" talking inappropriately of the staff. The teachers however don't ever care about the students.
when I was visiting this school I saw two kids picking on one poor student and the teachers were too busy talking to each other to realize what was going on I was highly disappointed!

  • When my son went to this school, he spent Kinder with a teacher who spoke broken English, forcing my child to mispronounce words. Then in 1st grade his "team teachers" were not skilled enough to recognize the early signs that my son had a learning problem. I kept him there one more year - and despite my urging for occupational therapy review, they put him in a "gifted" class even though he barely passed the FCAT for 1st grade. Fortunately, a teacher at Montessori Academy of Pembroke Pines, was alert enough to urge me to do educational testing on my own. We now have confirmation of his learning disability... no thanks to SSL Elementary. maybe they should focus less on FCAT funding and TEACH the children!
