  • My little girl started Kindergarten this year and as any parent that has been through it should know, it is a very exciting yet trying time. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences in dealing with the faculty and staff at Wadsworth Elementary since my little one started school. Prior to the start of school I had a chance to meet with not only the teacher but all of the principles face to face. We were given the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers.

I feel that the school really cares about the kids and their safety and provides ann excellent before/after school care program called extended day.

My daughter has learned so much this year. She is already reading and doing simple addition problems which was way beyond what I expected her to learn in kindergarten.

I can't say that I have one bad thing to say about the school and have loved having my daughter attend this school.

  • We received a letter today from the teacher that my daughter had been subjected to a physical exam called an "eye exam" "exam dated September/25/2007),WITHOUT a parent notification or permission. who gave the exam, are they licensed, was it a doctor, are they doing other things than checking for bad eyes. Does the school employ eye doctors? do they have background checks done like most teachers. why wasn't I as a parent given the choice? this is not Nazi Germany and I have the right to know who's doing any physical testing on any body part of my daughter, PERIOD! in this day and age.
