  • Great school for youth that WANT positive change. But
from personal experience if you are ordered to be at this school as a student it can affect you negatively if you're just not ready to change. When I was enrolled in SWFMI I was exposed to many other troubled youth and I believe being around them I learned a lot more bad things than before I went there. But the staff were great and very strict whenever they needed to be. I guess I'd recommend this school for students who are really looking or need help with educational and behavioral problems.
If I could go back and take advantage of all the opportunities they offered me I would!

  • Importance of Positive Peers
The meaning of positive peers is being around good people who help you make the right decisions in life. Being with positive people meaning you are staying away from negative peers, people who lead you to the wrong way in life. Those are the people you do not want to be with. They lead to places you don’t want be. Places like jail, prisons, and even dead. I know you don’t want that do you? I used to be around negative peers, got myself into lots of trouble. Started to do poor in school, had problem with my family, never obey my curfew, etc. Lots of things that wasn’t appropriate for my life. I had to advert and exclude myself from these negative peers. Now I’m with always with positive peers, people who really care about me. They are always helping fulfilling my life with good things, helping me with my education, and being with me when I am falling. The important thing in life is being around people who leads you to the right path and lead you to the wrong path. What person do you think you are? Are you a positive person or a negative person? Make sure you make the right decision because like they say “ positive overcomes negative.
