- I started Kindergarten here in 1944. Mrs. Voight was my teacher. In fact: I remember every one of my teacher's names on up through the 6th grade. Mrs. Surtees was the Principal and Mr. Hoskins: the custodian who played Santa every year. I have many fond memories.
