School Description

Commonwealth Connections Academy (CCA) provides a new form of public school that students can attend from home. This unique program combines

·         the expertise and accountability of publicly funded education,

·         strong parental involvement,

·         and the flexibility of online classes.

Tuition-free Public School for Grades K–12

Connections Academy operates one school in Pennsylvania under contract to the Commonwealth Connections Academy Charter School. CCA is a public cyber charter school authorized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The school serves students in grades K–12 from anywhere in Pennsylvania.

Parents pay no tuition for students to attend CCA. Students are considered to be enrolled in a public school.

Materials Provided by the School

·         Pennsylvania-certified teachers,

·         textbooks and other curriculum materials,

·         online resources, such as movies and encyclopedias,

·         and a loaned computer, printer and subsidy for Internet service.

Connections Academy is accredited by The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA), and the Commonwealth Connections Academy school is also accredited by The Middle States Association.
