South Columbia Family School

South Columbia Family School is a charter school located in Warren, Oregon.  We are committed to serving students whose parents want increased commitment and involvement in their children's education.  We have a unique program serving students in grades K-8 and recognize parents as having a major role in their children's academic success. Parents serve as students' learning coaches.  Licensed or registered staff provide Community Day classes, conferences, and tutoring.  

An integral component of the SCFS educational program is the Individualized Learning Plan (ILP). Families at SCFS work collaboratively with teachers and education coordinators to craft an ILP that is customized, meets individual needs and interests, and outlines the student's learning goals and outcomes. In conjunction with the ILP, the following are key components of our education program:

-Teamwork and collaboration between home and school
-Community Day
-Family conferences and tutoring

Our program and curriculum are provided at NO cost to our families.

Enrichment courses, such as Drama, Literature Circles, Science Explorations, Recorders, Guitar, Spanish, and Math Labs have also been offered.  These classes are optional and are provided by qualified staff.
