  • I'm going to be part of the graduating class of 2011. I'll like to discuss Inlet's leadership and unconventional ways of handling the school. Parent's that are considering sending your child to IGHS, go ahead. It's a great opportunity for 7th grade students to skip 8th grade and enter 9th grade but after that, please send your child back to their home schools. First of all, IGHS is poorly funded, endless online ranting won't change the fact that student's use old textbooks, the hallways are way over crowded for such a small "school", and many teachers aren't the greatest of the bunch. When you enter the school, you won't feel like a student, or a number, but a lab rat. Testing these ways of "discipline" and threats to students hoping to raise FCAT levels. Yet we're a 'D' school, once being a C. As I can see now, while applying for colleges, and meeting/visiting them, i feel unqualified due to my poor funded school. Flip a coin, heads, you get into PBCC, tails, you get into UF. Those are the only colleges, most of our students ever go.
