  • My son is a student at Safety Harbor Middle School. Like any 12 year old boy, he is not perfect. But he is a good student, a smart boy and has a kind nature.

I have been a big fan of most of the teachers and definitely the principle, Mrs. Kennedy. However, I have had repeated problems with the 6th grade Vice Principle, Mrs. Moore. She takes a very heavy handed approach with any disciplinary actions, always ready to severely punish a child for horrible infractions like CHEWING GUM or speaking out of turn, or tipping their chair up on two legs. When I have tried to reason with her, she becomes stubborn and power drunk, administering her punishments because she feels she has the authority.

Beware of this person if your child is in Safety Harbor Middle School. She doesn't like children and has a huge chip on her shoulder. She really belongs at the DMV or maybe the IRS. BRUTAL personality and should not be dealing with kids.

  • Hello, my name is Shane, and I am owner of "Shane's Fit Club". My son is starting at Safety Harbor Middle School this fall, and I have taken this opportunity to expand my fitness programs, to include a Before / After program for the students at S.H.M.S. I will provide transportation to and from the school. My program is a place where your child will participate in fitness classes, self-defense classes and have fun in a safe environment. The focus of my program is to teach not only self-defense and fitness but also Integrity, Honor, Respect, Self Confidence and Discipline.
