  • Actually I DO feel sorry for them. $46,000/yr works out to be about $3,800/month. With the amount of time and effort that they put in not just in class but at home; it's NOT a lot at all. They put up with so much crap from students then to have to go home and continue to work out of school time. Yea $46,000 is not a lot at all. Have a heart, have some compassion, and open your eyes and see what these teachers really go through. A friend of mine has to work a second just just to make ends meet. Now tell me when a person spends the time and money to go through school to persu a career to help educate the minds of the future, just to have to work at teaching all day come home to get ready for a second job, finish that then come home and mark, and prepare lesson plans, were is the break for that teacher who cares enough to put in the effort to make sure your child succeeds?

  • Below average school. Most of the teachers always complain about pay. They only make $46,000 a year. Yeah, like we should feel sorry for them.
