- Hollis Hand is a wonderful school with a loving, caring staff. They have a unique scheduling model called parallel block. All grade levels have whole group instruction and small group instruction. Each class attends an extension classroom for enrichment instruction which enables the homeroom teacher to work with a small group of students for reading instruction. They have two computer labs and 3 computers in each classroom. They also have a wonderful auditorium where each grade level performs a musical during their assigned month. This school has full time P.E., music, and art teachers which are partially funded by the school's P.T.O., staff fundraisers, and the local school board. It lives up to its motto - "A Special Place to Be."
