  • Well I am new to the Mableton/Atlanta area, just moved her from Michigan and am looking to a school for my 13 yr old son. He is very smart, respectful, but he LIKES TO TALK. I need to know if this school has a curiculum that is chanllanging enough for to keep his head in them book and off of what someone else is doing. I Also need a school that has a cinergy (before and after school LATCH KEY program). Are there any parents that are closely involved with the childs education that and they are in Lindley CURRENTLY that can give me some insight?

    Thank you

  • The new (...)although her intentions are good i do not like the fact that she called my child an undesirable in front of the whole school. Where they do that at? She knows not what a child might be going through in their daily lives. For instance my child has a major heart condition and was also diagnosed with ADD and is currently taking medication for both. First try talking to the parents before you go embarrassing children. Yes she said it and then when confronted tried to say she never said that when 2 of the teachers there also admitted she did. I was appalled at the nerve of this lady. She is loud and sometimes offensive even to me and I am a parent who normally stands behind all teachers. I do feel the school is improving but at what cost to the children's psyche.

  • this school was the best. it has so much entertainment. one grade at a time we all enter the auditorium and watch the plays and talent shows. it is a beautiful school with so much to offer. it offers extra curricular activities. lindley is built on sports. everyone is in something whether it band or a sport. the teachers could need some help with their attitudes. but there is a lot of people you can get to know

  • Lindley's an especially good school, except part of the students have somewhat unsatisfactory behavior and the block schedule disrupts the flow and work of the gifted students. They just need some change with the organization of the students!

  • From what I heard from former and current faculty, as well as current students and parents, the standards at Lindley has surely declined in the past years and it's not getting any better. It starts in the classrooms, as well as in the home, but the teachers can't just clock out at 4 and call it a day. Sure they might be stressed, but being a former student, I wanted my nephew who's also in the CCSS to go to my middle school, but not anymore.
